Our client in Kelowna, BC is a respected leader in the roofing industry, known for delivering high-quality asphalt, metal, and flat roofing solutions. They are well connected with many of the top developers in the area and are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Territory Sales Manager to join their team and drive continued business growth.
Position Summary
The Territory Sales Manager will play a key role in managing client relationships, generating new business, and preparing accurate estimates for roofing projects. Expertise in commercial flat roofing systems—particularly torch-on and TPO—is essential for success in this position. The role involves hands-on site evaluations, cost analysis, and collaboration across teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site assessments to gather measurements and identify project-specific challenges.
- Develop detailed and competitive project estimates covering materials, labor, and timelines.
- Review blueprints and project documentation to define accurate scopes and budgets.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project transitions and execution.
- Present and adjust estimates based on client feedback and project needs.
- Maintain organized records of estimates, communications, and project data.
- Pursue new business opportunities, preparing and presenting compelling proposals.
- Support contract bidding processes to expand client base.
- Strengthen relationships with existing general contractors, builders, and developers to encourage repeat business.
- Coordinate third-party inspections and resolve any identified deficiencies.
- Research and negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and improve margins.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring top-tier service and satisfaction.
