Your new role

We are looking for a strategic and results-driven General Manager to lead Powell River Town Centre (PRTC), overseeing mall operations, tenant relations, financial management,mercial leasing, and capital upgrades. This role requires a dynamic leadermitted to maintaining a thriving retail destination, ensuring seamless operations across leasing, maintenance, security, and customer service. You will cultivate strong tenant relationships, optimize financial performance, and drive marketing initiatives to enhancemunity engagement. Additionally, you will assist inmercial leasing efforts, securing new tenants and fostering business growth. Leading a professional team, you will foster a positive work culture while ensuring the facility remains safe, clean, and well-maintained. You will also spearhead capital upgrades and oversee management of 84 residential apartments.

What you need to succeed

As a successful retail or mall manager, you possess strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills, along with excellentmunication and interpersonal abilities. You are adept at handling multiple tasks efficiently and have experience in budgeting, financial management, and marketing strategy implementation. Familiarity with property management software and knowledge of local laws and regulations related to retail and residential properties are essential. Your proven track record of driving profitability, analyzing business data, and maintaining a customer service-oriented approach is highly valued. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is important, and prior experience in retail or mall management is considered an asset. The role requires flexibility, including availability on evenings, weekends, and holidays, to ensure smooth operations.
