Seasonal Retail Sales Associate – Avalon Mall
St. John's Metropolitan Area
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service and enhance customer engagement and satisfaction.
- Drive sales in the furniture, technology and supplies areas of the store.
- Set and achieve sales and margin goals with store leaders.
- Ensure operational excellence and uphold store brand standards.
- Support all merchandising and signage standards including planograms and stocking.
- Maintain Health & Safety, Asset Protection, and Privacy Policies.
- Engage with and sell to all customers by offering tailored products and services using all tools and techniques available in our selling model to anticipate and meet future customer needs.
- Handle transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system, including shipping transactions and marketing tools to convert customers.
- Calmly de‑escalate and assist in complex customer situations to ensure their concerns are addressed effectively or refer to a manager / supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and safe store environment by performing tasks such as dusting, front‑facing products, and ensuring demo units are clean and functional.
