Carry out root canals and other endodontic treatments. Collaborate with specialists for complex procedures or advanced care. Education : Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from an accredited dental school. Licensure : Valid dental license in the practicing state. Experience : Prior experience as a dentist is preferred but not mandatory for new graduates. Skills : Excellent communication and patient care abilities. Attention to detail and dexterity. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment. Operates in a clinical setting with regular interaction with patients and staff. May require evening or weekend hours depending on practice needs. Utilizes advanced dental technologies and equipment to provide care. Patient satisfaction and retention rates. Accuracy and efficiency in procedures. Compliance with health and safety protocols. Key Responsibilities
Patient Care
Conduct comprehensive oral examinations to assess patients’ dental health.
- Diagnose dental conditions, including cavities, gum disease, and other oral health issues.
- Develop and discuss treatment plans with patients, explaining procedures, options, and costs.
Dental Procedures
Perform restorative procedures such as fillings, crowns, bridges, and dentures.
Qualifications
Strong diagnostic and clinical skills.
