Our mission is simple : End Cyber Risk. We’re looking for a Product Manager, Managed Detection Response to be part of making this happen.
The Product Manager is responsible for understanding market needs and trends, collaborating with the product teams, managing the delivery and success of new products and capabilities in a data-driven manner, and driving priorities that maximize value for the internal and external customers. Product Managers participate in strategic and tactical activities for small to medium sized, possibly complex, projects that contribute to larger solutions, serve as the champion for their assigned product / service areas and may serve as product owner for one or more development teams. Individuals in this role will partner with others on the team to achieve their goals.
LOCATION : This role is open to Remote-Canada and Hybrid-Waterloo, ON, CA.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties :
Own and drive the product roadmap for cybersecurity solutions focused on IaaS platforms (Microsoft, AWS, Google, Oracle).
Define product requirements and user stories based on customer needs, market research, and security trends.
Collaborate with engineering and cloud architecture teams to design and deliver cloud-native security features.
Work closely with all product stakeholders to ensure smooth communication of planned and pending releases
Facilitate knowledge transfer with internal documentation, marketing and training teams to ensure required collateral is produced accurately and in a timely fashion
Represent product at Release Meetings
Monitor cloud provider updates (Microsoft, AWS, Google, Oracle) for relevant services and compliance requirements.
Partner with threat research teams to incorporate real-time security intelligence into product strategy.
Gather and maintain a good understanding of the competitive landscape and Arctic Wolf’s position within the market
Lead go-to-market (GTM) planning in collaboration with marketing, sales, and partner teams.
Analyze customer usage data and feedback to improve product performance and usability.
Support enablement and training of internal teams and channel partners.
Define and track key product metrics, including adoption, retention, and customer satisfaction.
Minimum Qualifications :
At least 3+ years of recent product management experience ideally in cybersecurity or cloud infrastructure.
Previous experience or knowledge of product management
Proven experience working with Microsoft, AWS, Oracle and Google IaaS environments.
Strong understanding of cloud security best practices (e.g., IAM, network security, encryption, compliance frameworks).
Familiarity with security solutions such as XDR, SIEM, CSPM, CNAPP, or endpoint / cloud workload protection.
Knowledge and use of technical, market, and customer research methodologies
Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.
Bachelor’s degree required (Computer Science or Business Administration preferred)
Preferred Qualifications :
Certifications such as AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Azure Security Engineer Associate, or Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer.
Experience with APIs, automation, and integration with other security or IT platforms.
Familiarity with regulatory standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, or GDPR.
Experience in software engineering, security, data science, or other deeply technical field

Competence in decision making and decision follow-through - including defining a problem, identifying different alternatives, selecting, and implementing the best alternative, and evaluating results to success criteria. May consult with senior staff to validate approach and decisions.
Is learning the activities of full-life cycle product management and is working towards mastering product definition and development process.
Contributes to some departmental goals and objectives.
Highly detail oriented and able to manage a large number of tasks simultaneously.
Problem Complexity : Typically works with moderate supervision / guidance. Identifies problems / issues; generates possible solutions and uses judgment within defined practices and procedures to come to decisions. May need to consult with more senior leadership on more complex issues.
Managing and Measuring Work : Works with manager to assign responsibility for tasks and decisions; contributes to setting clear objectives and measures; monitors process and progress to results; help design feedback loops into work.
Peer Relationships : Can identify areas of potential common ground and suggest solutions; can highlight the interests of many groups; is seen as a team player and is cooperative; works to gain trust and support peers; provides feedback through appropriate channels.
