Reporting to the Capital Projects Manager, you will be part of the Capital Projects Department. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that all day to day materials and services required for construction projects are procured cost efficiently, and with respect to the project schedule. You will also ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.

• Apply and enforce procurement procedures in accordance with internal policies and agreement in place with communities;
• Support project team with the day-to-day material and field purchasing requests;
• Prepare and issue request for pricing to bidders;
• Received Request Form and enter them in SAP;
• Issue purchase orders and manage changes to the order;
• Maintain the Change Log updated based on the various request received from the team for Supply packages;
• Receive change order requests from bidders, coordinate with engineering, construction team and issued addendum;
• Conduct commercial analysis and clarify with bidders as required;
• Negotiate commercial conditions when applicable to the best interest of Agnico Eagle Mines;
• Produce recommendations to award and obtain written approval;
• Anticipate and analyze the risks associated with critical suppliers;
• Ensure compliance and respect of contractual commitments;
• Selection of new suppliers;
• Maintain business relationships with suppliers.
