Job description

Position : Mechanical Designer – Expert in PTC CREO

We are looking for a Mechanical Designer for our client, someone who specializes in designing technical solutions and creating drawings for sheet metal products, and who is driven by challenges. This position is within a well-established company that manufactures and services equipment for the food industry. If you're looking to join a talented and skilled team, this opportunity might be for you. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, rigorous, and dedicated to their work.

Day shift

Location : Lachine

Salary : $75K+ depending on experience

Industry : Manufacturing

Important : Candidates must be authorized to work in Canada and currently reside in the province of Quebec.

Responsibilities

Design cost-effective technical solutions for commercial equipment.

Produce drawings in compliance with ASME Y14.5-2009 standards.

Select appropriate materials to ensure product reliability.

Participate in technical modifications by updating documentation accordingly.

Qualifications

Degree in Mechanical Engineering (DEC, DEP, or equivalent) with a specialization in sheet metal component design.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design and technical drawing creation.

Strong understanding of ASME Y14.5-2009 standards and dimensional tolerancing practices.

Proficiency in PTC Creo software and knowledge of sheet metal manufacturing processes.
