Portfolio Manager – TIAA Private Asset Management
The TIAA Private Asset Management Portfolio Manager serves as a central point of contact for high net‑worth clients, overseeing investment portfolios and providing personalized advice. This role involves direct portfolio oversight, regular client engagement, and thoughtful implementation of asset‑allocation strategies. It requires strong market knowledge, client‑facing confidence, and the ability to manage portfolios that align with complex financial goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Build investment portfolios informed by market conditions and economic trends.
- Recommend portfolio adjustments to grow clients’ net worth based on identified market and risk analysis.
- Execute securities transactions to maintain or achieve investment strategy or objectives.
- Determine acceptable risk levels with clients based on time horizons, risk preferences, return expectations, and market conditions.
- Evaluate portfolio performance and ensure compliance with regulatory standards, investor disclosure, privacy, anti‑money laundering, and anti‑fraud requirements.
- Maintain and inform clients of market conditions, investment research, and economic trends, and meet with them to discuss portfolio performance and objectives.
- Keep the team updated on capital‑market knowledge and investment‑management best practices.
- Provide input into investment models and allocation frameworks.
- Support business development and client‑retention initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and client reporting.

Compensation
Base Pay Range : $124,000 – $155,000 per year.
Actual base salary may vary based on experience, time in role, internal peers, performance, business sector, and location. In addition to base salary, compensation may include a performance incentive program.
