Position : Production Line Supervisor - Assembly Location : MississaugaShift : Day Our client in the manufacturing building materials industry is in search of a proactive and experienced Production Line Supervisor to lead in achieving production goals while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. The role involves overseeing daily shift operations, resource planning, team management, and continuous improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will ensure smooth production handovers, enforce discipline, and drive lean manufacturing practices. This position requires strong leadership skills, hands-on technical expertise, and the ability to manage a team in a fast-paced manual and automated equipment manufacturing environment.Responsibilities : - Supervise the day-to-day production assembly operations of the manufacturing plant and facilities.- Ensure production key performance indicators are met such as daily product output (delivery) operator productivity, quality (yield target), cost (rework parts), on-time delivery (production order due) and standards / safety (5S & Workplace Safety and Health).- Provide daily assembly operation resource deployment plan and technical support to sustain effective production run.- Fulfil sales order to delivery requirements and optimize work order process efficiency with daily monitoring of production planning work order flow and flexible deployment of operation resource.- Support daily assembly process and quality escalation and troubleshooting actions.- Support assembly productivity improvement programs.- Lead for assembly productivity improvement through periodic reviewing performance of product cycle time, machine and production yield performance.- Plan and control assembly preventive maintenance for equipment and machines.- Monitor and sustain 5S improvements program.- Support workplace safety health programs.Who are we looking for : - At least with Diploma or Bachelors Degree - Minimum 5 years' progressive experience preferably in some type of product assembly environment (manual and automated preferred)- Must have Building Product Experience, Metal Fabrications, Roll Forming, Stamping or Automotive experience considered an asset- Continuous Improvement Mindset- Effective leadership skills, able to manage 20+ operators on the floor- Effective analytical and problem-solving skills- Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills- Demonstrated capability in resource planning and team management- Hands on - on the floor working alongside his / her teamIf you think you are the right candidate for the role, please send your resume in Word format to karen.thomas@quantum.ca.REFER A PERM HIRE AND EARN UP TO $1,000!
