Description :
Assembly workers are responsible for putting together the various parts of a particular product. Their job may involve assembling one set of components or the finished product within a set rate of speed. Load / unload a variety of production components, including small parts, for assembly onto equipment and / or at workstations. Read Work Instructions or spec sheets and interpret information to ensure parts are made correctly. Visual inspection of machines; clean of debris, check for broken tooling, air leaks, or damaged wires and convey that information to the appropriate personnel. Communicates with a variety of personnel to share, collect, or provide information. Responsible for cleaning or helping with the shop setup, painting, etc in the begining.
Qualifications :
- High School Diploma OSSD or equivalent; 1-3 years of production experience an asset; Must have basic math and communication skills; Ability to stand for long periods of time; Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. repeatedly; Ability to commit to flexible schedule and prompt arrival for shifts; Ability to transfer measurements or data onto quality / production audit forms;
