We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Practitioner to join our healthcare team in Ontario. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, focusing on preventive care, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic illnesses. The Family Practitioner will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care in a patient- centered environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Provide comprehensive primary care services to individuals and families.
Conduct thorough physical examinations and medical histories.
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic health conditions.
Develop and implement patient care plans, including preventive care and health education.
Perform minor procedures as required.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
Collaborate with specialists and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated patient care.
Participate in community outreach and health promotion activities.
Stay informed about advancements in family medicine and continue professional development.
Qualifications :
Education : Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent from an accredited institution.
Licensure : Must be licensed to practice medicine in Ontario, Canada, and be a member in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO).
Certification : Certification in Family Medicine from the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC)
Experience : Previous experience in family medicine or primary care setting is an asset.
Skills :
o Strong clinical skills and a patient-centered approach to care.
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
o Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
o Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Requirements :
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
