Hours: Week 1: Fri, Sat, Sun 00:30 - 08:00 | Week 2: Sat, Sun 03:00 - 08:00
Payrate: $21.48 hourly
Overtime Method: Averaging Agreement (AA) after 88 hours

Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain a visible, alert, and professional security presence
- Greet, assist, and direct visitors and staff as needed
- Ensure safety and security of clients, property, and assets
- Perform interior and exterior patrols, responding to incidents and emergencies
- Document, report, and investigate all security-related events
- Enforce policies and procedures, including access control and site regulations
- Conduct lock/unlock duties and monthly safety inspections
- Work effectively independently and as part of a team
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- Valid First Aid & CPR - Level C Certificate (from a WSIB-approved provider)
- Ability to clear a Vulnerable Sector Check (during onboarding)
- Valid G2 class license with reliable vehicle
- Ability to be clean shaven to pass an N95 Mask Fit Test
- Proof of COVID-19 Vaccine (minimum double vaccination)
- Completed immunizations for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and TB)

- 6+ months experience in healthcare or non-healthcare security preferred, 6+ months of customer service experience considered an asset
- Commitment to a minimum 6 months of availability required
- English fluency (oral & written) required
- Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB)
- Applicants lacking these certifications can opt into Paladin's UoF/MOAB training program prior to their onboarding training to ensure they meet the requirements of the positionPlease be aware: The UoF/MOAB training is not paid as it is a pre-requisite; however, Paladin will cover all the costs of the training with a 6-month commitment to the position/availability
