Surepoint is currently hiring Electricians – All Levels at our Nisku branch.
Applicants must prioritize safety, cost control, and client satisfaction. Attention to detail is essential to meet and exceed client expectations. Candidates should perform duties professionally and courteously, meet physical demands, exercise initiative and good judgment, and be capable of multi-tasking. Willingness to travel and work extended shifts is required.
Qualifications and Responsibilities :
- Journeyman Electrician Certificate or registration with the Apprenticeship Board
- Strong safety awareness and adherence to safety procedures
- Experience in industrial electrical work
- Ability to work away from home
- Ability to work off ground using ladders, scaffolding, and AWP
- Measure, cut, fabricate, and install cable trays
- Install heat trace and components
- Install light fixtures, junction boxes, and miscellaneous equipment (5-50 lbs)
- Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and architectural drawings and electrical codes
- Pull cable / wire through conduits and trays
- Perform cable glanding and terminations
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders for extended periods
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Experience with conduit bending and proper installation techniques
