Design and implement organized workflows to streamline purchasing activities. Communicate effectively with internal sales representatives, operations teams, and external vendor representatives. Build strong relationships to ensure seamless purchasing and alignment with company goals. Verify inventory availability and ensure accuracy in all purchasing activities. Address and resolve issues proactively to avoid disruptions to the supply chain. Proven experience in purchasing, supply chain management, or a related role. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Proficient in ERP systems and online purchasing tools; willingness to learn and adapt to new systems. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented, strategic, and proactive Buyer to manage and optimize our purchasing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of procurement processes, the ability to manage manual and system-driven workflows, and the ambition to take ownership of purchasing activities.
Responsibilities
Purchasing and Inventory Management :
- Execute daily purchasing tasks, consolidating orders strategically to benefit from free shipping while balancing immediate inventory needs.
- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders and align them with sales orders for efficient operations.
- Monitor warehouse inventory levels, especially for key third-party brands, and suggest purchases as needed.
- Resolve backorder issues and follow up relentlessly on overdue receivings.
