PROGRAMMING - UNREAL ENGINE

What We Do

Unreal-powered projects have been on the bleeding edge of real-time entertainment for over 20 years. Our team of programming experts are always innovating to improve the tools and technology that empower content developers worldwide.

What You'll Do

We're looking for an experienced Technical Artist who will contribute to innovative uses of the Unreal Engine on a daily basis. Your primary goal would be to empower licensees to solve technical / artistic issues in their projects and push the boundaries of the Unreal Engine. Your primary tasks will involve directly interacting with licensees, contributing to the development of the engine, and creating content that showcases the capabilities of Unreal in ways that inspire and educate.

In this role, you will

• Diagnose issues and guide best practices in linear and runtime animation for Unreal Engine licensees in person, via video, or over email
• Work with the engine team, customers, and technical partners in the ongoing improvement of Unreal Engine's animation tools and features
• Drive the creation and development of knowledge sharing resources such as samples, live presentations, whitepapers, tutorials, and knowledge base articles
• Build a variety of animation asset types and help others to do so
• Understand typical performance bottlenecks in animation and assist licensees in resolving them
• Provide mentorship and coaching to team members

The expected annual base pay range(s) for this position are detailed below. Each base pay range is relevant only for individuals who are residents of or will be expected to work within the specified locale. Compensation varies based on a variety of factors, which include (but aren't limited to) things such as skills and competencies, qualifications, knowledge, and experience. In addition to base pay, most employees are eligible to participate in Epic's generous benefit plans and discretionary incentive programs (subject to the terms of those plans or programs).

157,847-$231,508 CAD
