Project Role Description :
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Functional Analyst / Architect / Senior Business Analyst with expertise in Global PAYplus (GPP) to help create tangible business value for our banking clients. This role will involve leading current state assessments, identifying high-level customer requirements, and designing business solutions that align with the client's objectives. You will play a key role in defining and implementing payment solutions and enhancing the functionality of GPP.
As a key member of the team, your typical day will include :
- Conducting assessments of current business processes and payment systems
- Analyzing customer requirements and collaborating with stakeholders to create effective business solutions
- Developing business cases to achieve project goals
- Managing functional aspects of the GPP application and ensuring alignment with payment flows
Key Responsibilities :
GPP Expertise : Lead the implementation and optimization of the Global PAYplus (GPP) product, providing expertise in its configuration and application.Business Analysis : Analyze and interpret customer requirements and translate them into functional solutions, ensuring they align with payment flows and GPP configurations.Process Assessment & Design : Conduct current state assessments and identify areas for process improvement and business value creation.Solution Design & Gap Analysis : Perform gap analysis, identify required changes, and design solutions to bridge these gaps.GPP Configuration : Configure GPP application flows, including business rules and profiles, system parameters, and workflows, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.Troubleshooting & Simulation : Simulate payment flows, triage customer issues, and provide resolutions to functional queries from stakeholders.Documentation : Create and maintain functional, system, and reference documentation as well as detailed requirement specifications.Stakeholder Collaboration : Work closely with business units, technical teams, and vendor partners to balance technical complexities and ensure the successful implementation of payment solutions.End-to-End Payment Expertise : Provide in-depth knowledge of payment processing systems (e.g., Faster Payments, RTGS, SEPA, ISO messaging standards) and ensure smooth integration with various payment schemes.Must-Have Skills :
Strong experience with Fusion Global PAYplus (GPP) product and business rule / profile configuration.Expertise in payment flows, payment processing systems, and relevant database tables.Ability to read and understand requirement and solution documents in the context of GPP.Proficiency in Business Requirements Analysis and translating them into functional specifications.Knowledge of Faster Payments, RTGS, SEPA, and other ISO messaging standards in the Payments domain.Ability to create scalable and reusable functional solutions.Strong analytical, communication, planning , and coordination skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively with various stakeholders.Good-to-Have Skills :
Exposure to payment schemes such as BACS, FedWire, and others.Experience with integration and implementation of payments systems in banking environments.Experience Requirement :
Minimum 2 years of experience with Fusion Global PAYplus (GPP) or similar payment systems.Ideal Candidate Profile :
