As a Policy Analyst, Strategic Engagement, you will be at the forefront of advancing provincial priorities in intergovernmental and international relations. Working closely with senior leadership and program teams, you’ll develop strategies, analyze critical issues, and ensure that every engagement aligns with departmental goals and priorities. This role is your chance to drive outcomes for the technology and innovation sector on a provincial, intergovernmental, and global scale.

Your key responsibilities include :

  • Developing and executing strategic engagement plans aligned with departmental priorities.
  • Conducting research and analysis to provide comprehensive understanding of key issues and priorities.
  • Maintaining accurate events and intergovernmental trackers for efficient decision-making.
  • Supporting mission planning for the Minister and Executive, including travel approvals, briefing packages, and logistics coordination.
  • Collaborating with program areas to prepare materials for strategic engagements.
  • Preparing briefing materials such as action requests, plans, policy packages, and meeting agendas.
  • Analyzing information to identify issues, propose resolutions, and provide well-researched recommendations.
  • Building and maintaining relationships across the Ministry and government to ensure alignment with strategic engagement outcomes.
