Job descriptionHigh School or collage diploma. Or have at least two (2) or more years of working experience in a warehouse, ideally in the food storage industry. Ability to work with an RF scanner. Strong analytical skills and knowledge of MS software (Excel is a must). Solid understanding of how an inventory works. Ability to work in a bilingual environment (French and English required to serve our internal and external customers). Ability and willingness to work in a cold environment (-18°C). Organized, reliable and responsible. Concerned about customer satisfaction without neglecting results. Ability to learn quickly. Possess an up-to-date forklift operator card and experience in an environment with a WMS Warehouse Management System (an asset).

Responsibilities
Responsibilities as a warehouse gatekeeper may include :
- Monitor incoming and outgoing shipments.
- File out shipping and receiving forms.
- Receive goods and control quantities.
- Verify the accuracy of inventory (annually and occasionally).
- Inspect goods for damage.
- Maintain records of arrivals and departures.
- Interact with truck drivers, coordinating with warehouse staff to ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Meet the needs of the production unit in terms of raw materials.
- Contribute to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Coordinate general warehouse operations and activities.
- Additional tasks provided by a supervisor.
