Job description

Cloud Analyst

Are you passionate about being a part of a highly innovative solutions environment where the people are dedicated and focused on continuous learning and collaboration? Canadian Natural is looking for a Cloud Analyst to join our Information Systems Cloud and Communications team. Reporting to the Lead, Cloud & Communications, you will be responsible for the delivery and sustainment of Canadian Natural’s modern communication, productivity and cloud services, including Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, Microsoft M365, Jabber and WebEx.

This is a 3-month contract to start, with the possibility for extension.

Key Accountabilities :

  • Deliver and maintain cloud tenant environments and operations : Microsoft 365, Azure, and AWS
  • Deliver and maintain managed communications and productivity services including calling, chat / messaging, audio / video conferencing and office productivity across on-premises and cloud service components
  • Ensure the availability, scalability and security of services and systems
  • Evergreen documentation of service management configuration, support processes and knowledge base
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, product roadmaps, and technologies enhancements to continuously improve services and systems
  • Contribute to the planning, execution and delivery of projects, ensuring they deliver required capabilities
  • Maintain and monitor cloud backups solutions

Skills & Qualifications :

  • 10+ years of technology industry experience with at least 3-years administering communication, productivity, cloud infrastructure and cloud backup services
  • Strong technical knowledge of public and private cloud service models, modern communication and productivity services, and cloud automation technologies servicing 5000+ global users (Microsoft 365, Terraform, Azure, AWS)
  • Skilled in cloud security principles and best practices
  • Microsoft Certification in Azure, M365, Exchange Online, or Teams preferred
  • Detailed understanding of M365 security policies
  • Detailed understanding of Active Directory and Azure security
  • Familiar with the ITIL framework and use to deliver excellent IS and customer service
  • Proven and effective technical writing and presentation skills
  • Detailed experience as a technical lead on large enterprise migration projects (5000+ users)
