Aircraft Tow Operator
Jazz is hiring Aircraft Tow Operators. If you have an interest in aviation and enjoy working outdoors and operating heavy equipment, this entry‑level position may be perfect.
What You Will Do
When aircraft aren’t flying, they move from gate to gate or to the maintenance hangar for work packages. As a tow operator, you will position aircraft from one point of the airport to another via live taxiways / runways, maintain constant radio communications with ATC Ground Control and Operations Coordinators, and operate various airport equipment such as jet bridges and gate power units.
Key Responsibilities
- Tow aircraft / Brake‑riding aircraft
- Maintain excellent two‑way radio communication
- Provide mobile support for aircraft set‑up and tow teams
- Operate various ground equipment, including jet bridges and gate support equipment
- Perform duties in accordance with established policies and procedures, prioritizing safety of self, coworkers, customers, and assets
- Maintain safety standards via the Safety Management System (SMS)
- Other related duties as assigned
