Minimum Qualifications :
- Proven experience as a Millwright or similar role
- 433A Industrial Mechanic Millwright accreditation, an asset
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Proficiency in welding and fabrication techniques
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and electrical components
- Familiarity with industrial maintenance practices
- Ability to work with low voltage systems
- Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
Hourly rate : $27-$45 / hr
Day in the Life
We are seeking a skilled Millwright or Equipment Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in mechanical systems, industrial maintenance, and fabrication. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery in our facilities. On a daily basis, you will install, dismantle, repair, reassemble, troubleshoot, and move machinery as needed while performing routine maintenance on equipment to ensure smooth operations and repairs when necessary. You will also utilize welding skills to fabricate parts using various tools and equipment. Organization skills will be important as you maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities. It will be important to collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently.
Safety will always be your number one priority as you adhere to protocols, wear PPE, keep a keen eye out for any potential hazards, communicate effectively, and promote an overall safe culture.
