We are currently looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our Champlin, MN team full-time. In this role, our new team member will be instrumental in designing electrical systems for automated water treatment systems, and will also play a crucial role in improving our internal processes.

The day-to-day :
Actively participate in the electrical design of automated water treatment systems, covering various areas such as potable water production, industrial process water manufacturing, and wastewater treatment;
Proactively contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes, particularly regarding quality control, compliance with current standards and codes, and updating technical documents;
Supervise electrical work in the factory and ensure rigorous monitoring of system tests;
Conduct thorough review and validation of power and control electrical schematics;
Provide valuable support to the sales team by assisting in bid preparation, including cost evaluation, analysis of technical specifications, and specific requirements;
Collaborate closely with various internal departments, consisting of engineers, technicians, and project managers, to facilitate smooth communication and optimal synergy.
The skills we are looking for :
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering;
2 to 3 years of experience in a relevant field for the position;
Relevant experience in a manufacturing environment;
Ability to interpret power & control electrical schematics;
Knowledge of electrical components for automation, instrumentation, control, and power; Proficiency in software such as EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, or similar drawing software;
Availability to occasionally travel to the Ham-Nord plant;
Excellent analytical and synthesis skills, with great attention to detail;
Ability to manage priorities and work on multiple projects simultaneously;
Ability to work in a team with a positive and professional attitude.
