Job description

On behalf of our clients, are looking for a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in Richmond Hill, Ontario. In this role, you will focus on reviewing financial statements and ensuring accurate data entry into Excel files while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. This position requires strong organizational skills, financial knowledge, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities :

  • Review pages of financial statements and accurately input data into pre-designed Excel templates.
  • Organize and format Excel worksheets to ensure consistency, readability, and adherence to best practices.
  • Verify data for accuracy, completeness, and correctness during and after the entry process.
  • Collaborate with clients to clarify ambiguous entries or address formatting issues.
  • Handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Assist with additional data input or organizational tasks related to financial statements.
  • Manage large volumes of data efficiently while adhering to deadlines.
  • Communicate effectively to resolve discrepancies and ensure data accuracy.
  • Support financial statement preparation and consolidation tasks as needed.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data entry and formatting.
  • Familiarity with working within pre-existing Excel templates without disrupting formulas or formatting.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
  • Understanding of basic financial statement concepts such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Experience in handling condominium or property-related financial documents is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage high volumes of data efficiently.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive financial information.
