Role Description
This is a part-time on-site with the flexibility to grow to a full-time role for a Bookkeeper / Office Assistant based in Picton, ON. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, preparing accurate financial statements, and performing bookkeeping duties such as maintaining ledgers and reconciling accounts. Additional responsibilities include processing journal entries, utilizing accounting software for financial management, assisting in financial reporting, and contributing to efficient financial operations.

Qualifications
- Experience with Bookkeeping and preparing Financial Statements
- Proficiency in using Accounting Software and executing Journal Entries. Specifically Simply Accounting -Sage
- Strong understanding of Finance principles and financial reporting
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Prior professional experience in bookkeeping or financial management roles is an asset
- Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
- Administrative Support: Answer and direct phone calls, manage emails, faxes, and correspondence; greet visitors and serve as the first point of contact.
- Document & Records Management
- Office Operations: Maintain inventory of office supplies, place orders, and ensure equipment are functional and well-stocked.

On-site Mechanic to perform maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on heavy equipment—requiring troubleshooting skills, safety knowledge, and a mechanic certification or apprenticeship, with a focus on quality, efficiency, and getting customers back on the road.
