Job description

Oulton College is seeking a qualified instructor to teach Human Anatomy & Physiology I and Human Anatomy & Physiology II, including associated laboratory components, within our Bachelor of Science in Nursing program.

This is a part-time position, requiring availability approximately three days per week. Candidates seeking full-time employment are encouraged to apply; additional teaching opportunities may be available based on qualifications, experience, and instructional portfolio.



Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Human Anatomy & Physiology I and II and associated laboratory components.
  • Prepare and deliver lectures, laboratory activities, assessments, and learning materials.
  • Evaluate student performance and provide timely feedback.
  • Maintain accurate academic records and uphold academic standards.
  • Foster a supportive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree (completed or in progress) in a relevant field such as Anatomy, Physiology, Microbiology, Biology, or Health Sciences. Candidates nearing completion of their Master’s degree are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.
  • Relevant teaching, research, laboratory, healthcare, or industry experience.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to engage and support students in a post-secondary learning environment.
  • Applicants are not required to have a Nursing background.
