YOUR IMPACT :

A Client Director role at OpenText is more than just a job, it's an opportunity to impact lives. As a key contributor, you'll be instrumental in constructing cutting-edge information management solutions that contribute to drive the "booking" (deal closure consisting of a signed Statement of Work and Purchase Order) of the OpenText Professional Services business unit.

WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS :

  • Owning all Professional Services business in selected Accounts within Ontario, Canada.
  • Maintaining client relationships for all ongoing projects and drive recurring services bookings in your accounts, developing a healthy pipeline of new initiatives.
  • Supporting critical leadership reviews and presenting the status of the programs internally and externally.
  • Work closely with sales account managers to provide total solution (i.e. License and Cloud Sales subscription and Professional Services) to the customer.
  • Become the trusted advisor to the customer on implementation and management of OpenText products and solutions.
  • Responsible for selling consulting services to both new and existing customers, while closing sales that enable the consulting team to drive backlog revenue.
  • Forecasting accurately to allow the OpenText Services business to forecast new opportunity bookings and backlog revenue.
  • Ability to engage with business stakeholders to understand requirements, prioritize demands, prepare business cases, and develop execution plans, while translating business opportunities and challenges into solutions that deliver measurable outcomes
  • Workout the business process transformation / improvement roadmap with the business stakeholders with clear goals and measurable targets.
  • Program manage large cross functional projects from concept to sales closure. This will include evaluation and selection of technology platforms, services, contract reviews, budget planning, resource planning, stakeholder management, vendor management, project execution, communication and monitoring.
  • Overseeing the risk and issue management of Project related activities to ensure an acceptable level of risk.
  • Work with the services delivery team to create Work Breakdown Structures to support pricing estimates.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED :

  • 5 years plus experience with responsibilities in selling consulting services for medium to large scale projects.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Business applications systems (Enterprise Content Management, Big Data Analytics, AI, Enterprise Information Management and SAP Solutions), systems design and development processes, including requirements analysis, feasibility studies, software design, programming, pilot testing, installation and evaluation.
  • Develop Statement of Work, Change Request, RFP responses, Rough Order of Magnitude and Basis of Estimate (BoE).
  • Ability to perform Account Management function to help drive future work within a Professional Services organization.
  • Experience within the Financial sector, while not a requirement, would be to your advantage within this position.
  • Ability to negotiate contractual terms with customers and internal stake-holders.
  • Excellent Business and Technology level verbal / written communication skill.
  • A high level of commitment, willingness to learn, and the ability to quickly apply new technologies.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and abroad.
  • Experienced in using salesforce.com to manage opportunity pipeline.
