Compensation : $50000.00 to $55000.00 yearly

Robert Half is partnered with a leading organization in the manufacturing industry who is looking to hire a Collections Specialist to join their collaborative team.. This is a full time permanent position located in the Woodbridge, ON area. Reporting to the Credit Manager, the Collections Specialist will be responsible for;

Responsibilities

  • Outbound collection calls on past due balances to decrease outstanding receivables
  • Reconcile customer accounts
  • Liaise with internal departments such as sales team to resolve customer disputes
  • Negotiate payments and recommend customers go to collections when needed
  • Prepare and update AR ageing reports and other reports such as DSO

Job Requirements : Qualifications

  • 1+ years of relevant experience in accounts receivable
  • ERP system experience is an asset
  • Reliable skills in Microsoft Office with excellent Excel skills
  • Detailed and have the ability work independently
  • Solid understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work in high volume dynamic environment
