Job Summary Reporting to the Accounts Payable Team Lead, the Accounts Payable Coordinator will be responsible for performing general office tasks, reporting, filing, reception coverage, and resolving discrepancies in an accurate and timely manner.
Responsibilities Post Accounts Payable invoices ensuring accuracy of allocations and that proper approval processes are followed Three-way matching of Accounts Payable Invoices Oversee AP mailbox and communicate with vendors Vendor statement reconciliations Gather time sensitive documents to prepare A / P cheque run packages for processing Credit Card Statement Allocation to appropriate GL accounts Perform administrative tasks such as sorting mail and filing Perform month-end duties for given companies Generating reports and statements as per management requests Reception coverage Other ad hoc duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field an asset Two years’ experience in a similar role with primary focus on Accounts Payable (AP) Good communication, research, problem solving, and time management skills High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and meeting tight deadlines Experience with Jonas for Construction is an asset Computer savvy and well versed in MS Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) We have a fast-paced and collaborative work environment, where creativity, initiative, and innovation are valued.
