EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Permanent, Full-Time, Salaried
SALARY: $55,000 – $60,000 annually
LOCATION: Manning Park Resort, BC (On-site, staff housing available)

We are currently seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day accounting functions for the resort. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this role is ideal for someone who values accuracy, structure, and the opportunity to work in a close-knit, collaborative environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain accurate accounting records across all resort departments
  • Perform daily POS and payment reconciliation
  • Ensure revenue is recorded accurately across multiple revenue streams
  • Reconcile General Ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies
  • Prepare journal entries and support month-end and year-end close
  • Process Accounts Payable including vendor invoices and payments
  • Manage Accounts Receivable including invoicing and collections
  • Perform bank, cash, and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Prepare recurring financial, operational, and gratuity reports
  • Maintain integrity of accounting systems and chart of accounts
  • Assist with audits and compliance requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1 year of bookkeeping or accounting experience
  • Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online
  • Experience in hospitality or multi-revenue environments preferred
  • Familiarity with POS systems
  • Strong Excel and financial data skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
