Are you looking for a meaningful role within an organization known for its social impact and commitment to serving the people? A well-established property management company is currently seeking an accounting clerk to support its finance team. This versatile position will allow you to contribute directly to the organization’s accounting operations in a flexible, collaborative, and purpose-driven environment.
This is a FT Permanent position and requires candidates to have YARDI EXPERIENCE. Only candidates with hands-on experience working with Yardi will be considered for the position. Advantages
Vacation : 2 weeks to start and increases based on years of service
Insurance : Group coverage after 3 months
Schedule : 40h / week, flexible schedule depending on team (start at 8 or 8 : 30 a.m.)
Competitive base salary + $5000 year end performance bonus
Responsibilities
Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet accounts
Monitor fixed assets, depreciation, prepaid expenses, etc.
accounts payable and receivable duties
Report to the Accounting advisor and CEO for any accounting related duties
Manage work in progress and intercompany transactions
Analyze general ledger accounts
Meet closing and reporting deadlines
Assist in the preparation of month-end and year-end files
Qualifications
2+ years' experience in a similar role
Education in accounting
Very good command of the full accounting cycle
At ease with Excel
Experience in property management / real estate is an asset
