We are currently looking for an Accounting Technician to join our team here at Baker Tilly WCR LLP. This is a full-time (32-40 hours per week, plus overtime during March and April) permanent position.

Your primary responsibilities will include :

Assistance with and preparation of accounting engagements including preparation of adjusting journal entries, financial statements, and corporation income tax returns.
Assistance with and preparation of client bookkeeping.
Assistance with and preparation of personal income tax, T4, WCB and T5 returns.
Supporting various projects and administrative tasks as required
A successful candidate will have :
A successful candidate will have :
Experience within an accounting or administration office.
Experience with any of Caseware, TaxPrep, Profile, Doc-it, QBO, Xero and / or Microsoft Suite is an asset.
Strong oral and written English communication skills.
Accomplished in multi-tasking and prioritizing tasks to meet multiple deadlines.
Ability to make decisions and problem solve independently within the scope of the position.
