As an Accounting & Reporting Specialist (Accounts Payable), you will have the opportunity to support accounts payable activities in line with defined policies, procedures, and strategies. Each day, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of accounts payable transactions. You will also showcase your expertise by preparing comprehensive reports and analysis to support effective decision‑making.

This role is contributing to the Electrification, Installation Products division of ABB Canada and is located in Pointe‑Claire.

The work model is 100% on‑site.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process vendor invoices on a timely basis while ensuring all necessary documentation and approvals are in place.
• Comply with and help achieve Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICoFR) compliance in the Accounts Payable team for applicable templates and participate in internal control testing and preparing relevant documentation.
• Input invoice and payment information into the accounting system with a high level of accuracy and reconcile vendor statements to ensure all outstanding payments are accounted for and resolved promptly.
• Process customs clearance invoices in payables, following CSA guidelines.
• Participate in preparing monthly closing entries, reconciliations, and unpaid accruals.
• Participate in Conflict Materials, REACH, and CUSMA / USMCA declarations.
