Title : Sr. Bookkeeper / Accountant

Location : Halifax

Advantages

Full time permanent role, Monday to Friday

Office hours (830-430 or 9-5)

Benefits and vacation

Be off (paid) between Christmas and New Year's Day

Hybrid work environment (to be discussed)

Responsibilities

  • bookkeeping
  • maintain financial statements
  • payroll
  • Accounts Payable
  • maintain excel spreadsheets
  • other duties as required

Qualifications

  • bookkeeping experience required
  • knowledge of accounting software (Yardi is required - Breeze or Voyager)
  • Experience working with real estate and property management companies
  • ability to work very independently
  • ability to work in office (Halifax)
  • knowledge of financial statements
