We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Financial Analyst in Toronto, Ontario. As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and assisting in the development of financial plans. You will be a crucial player in our team, playing a pivotal role in our financial decision-making process.

Responsibilities :

• Analyzing financial data to assist in decision-making processes
• Preparing detailed reports and financial forecasts
• Assisting in the development and implementation of financial plans
• Monitoring financial details to ensure legal compliance
• Collaborating with management on long-term financial planning
• Reviewing financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports
• Identifying trends and recommending actions to optimize financial performance
• Working closely with the financial team to understand and manage company finance
• Assisting in budget preparation and expense management activities
• Conducting risk assessment and advising on risk management strategies.
• The role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Financial Analyst position or related field.
• Candidates must possess a strong understanding and knowledge of finance.
• Demonstrated proficiency in financial forecasting and financial modeling is necessary.
• Ability to interpret and analyze financial data and present findings clearly.
• Exceptional numerical proficiency and attention to detail is required.
• Strong proficiency in Office Suite, particularly in spreadsheet software, is expected.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Must have the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• A degree in Finance, Economics, Business or a related field is necessary.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and legislation is beneficial.
• Experience with financial software programs is desirable.
• Candidates should exhibit strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Experience in creating financial reports and conducting investment analysis is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute positively to team dynamics.
