Overview
Join to apply for the CNC Operator role at Crossroads C&I. Crossroads C&I is hiring for the Ottawa facility. This position involves operating Computer Numerical Controlled (CNC) machines as part of the fabrication team.
Responsibilities
- Understand all functions of the equipment being used and operate CNC machinery safely and efficiently.
- Perform machine setups and make adjustments (fixture offsets, tool length offsets, etc.).
- Read and interpret product descriptions and manufacturing requirements; ensure product quality is met and report any quality or machine issues to the supervisor.
- Perform routine maintenance and general housekeeping duties; follow Lock Out / Tag Out safety procedures.
- Read, write and understand English; use navigation software as needed.
- Change over or setup machines for new jobs; adjust machine settings to meet job requirements.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain a focus on personal safety in a fast-paced environment.
- Complete work efficiently and in a timely manner as instructed by supervision.
- Adhere to shift schedule (8 : 00 am to 4 : 30 pm) and take on additional duties as assigned.
