Summary
This position reports to the Maintenance Manager. As First Class Mechanic, you will inspect, maintain, repair, Forklifts / Lift Trucks in a safe matter, taking safety as the number one priority.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform minor and major repairs, and scheduled preventive maintenance on Forklifts / Lift Trucks.
- Maintain records of scheduled maintenance procedures, operate computers which control and monitor mechanical equipment.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests as required, perform assignments in general maintenance such as : changing batteries in the industrial lift equipment or building maintenance duties, house keeping, filing, and other general duties at our Distribution Centres.
