Job Title : Financial controller - Start-up - Tech

Location : Montreal, downtown, Hybrid

Job Type : Permanent

Salary : $100000-$120000 + bonus

I'm currently looking for an inquisitive, solution-oriented Financial Controller to act as the Finance Director's right-hand man, building with him the accounting processes and KPIs needed to support the organic and external growth projects of a Services / Technology company.

Responsibilities

As Financial Controller - Start-up - Tech, your responsibilities will include :

  • Internalize the company's accounting department
  • Design and implement efficient accounting and financial processes,.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts and strategic plans
  • Build up activity monitoring and KPIs
  • Support the CFO in external growth projects (prospect profitability analysis, acquisition due diligence, financing and integration)
  • Supervise accounting team
  • Qualifications

    For this role of Financial Controller - Start-up - Tech, we are looking for someone with the following qualifications :

  • CPA or equivalent
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in an audit firm or corporate experience as a controller
  • Comfortable with financial modeling or advanced Excel
  • Bilingual
  • Experience in services -Tech is an asset
