Sorters - Monday to Friday- APLPP

Then, you are at right place. We are hiring Sorters to support production and packaging operations for one of our trusted clients based out in Brampton. This role focuses on quality inspection of plastic bags, sorting, machine support, and packing. It's ideal for candidates with attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work in a hands-on production environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform visual quality inspections on plastic bags to identify defects

Oversee basic machine operations and make minor adjustments as needed

Lift and remove bundles of bags from conveyor lines

Conduct quality tests to ensure product standards are met

Transfer approved bags into boxes for packing

Assemble boxes and retrieve empty pallets for staging

Load completed boxes onto pallets for shipping

Use computers to enter product information and print labels

Maintain a clean and safe workstation and follow safety protocols

Skills / Abilities :

 Ability to stand for long periods of time with frequent lifting and pulling

 Ability to lift bags and boxes (up to 10lbs) on a frequent basis

 Ability to lift up to 25-50lbs (with a partner) for bag drop tests

Requirements :

WHO IS OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE :

 Anyone who has completed the high school diploma.

 Anyone at least 1 year of previous manufacturing experience in similar role

 Excellent troubleshooting and analytical abilities

 Strong multi tasking skills in a fast paced environment

 Attention to detail and ability to read manuals

 Prior experience of working different shifts is an asset (preferably night shifts)

 Ability to lift up to 50lbs unassisted

Qualifications : SELECTION CRITERIA :

 An interview will be conducted by Armor consultant

 Police clearance check is a MUST

 Double vaccination status is required
