The Human Capital (HC) team at PwC Canada includes Human Resources, Learning & Development, and Talent Management professionals. The HC team's vision is to attract, develop, reward and manage diverse and authentic leaders, at all levels, who build strong relationships and serve our clients well. The Development pillar of HC focuses on learning & development (L&D) methods (supporting learning needs assessment, leading edge design, development and delivery techniques, technology learning support, learning management systems, program effectiveness metrics and evaluation, and global knowledge sharing), Line of Service (LoS) technical L&D solutions and Firmwide non-technical L&D solutions. The L&D Digital & Operations team is a subset of this pillar. Reporting directly to the L&D Digital and Operations Leader and L&D Managers / Senior Managers, the L&D Senior Associate will work on the national implementation and delivery of training programs across Canada. This will be accomplished with support from the Learning and Development Shared Service Center, Meeting and Event Services, the Operations teams as well as liaising with colleagues in Resource Management, Campus & Recruiting and Human Resources. The L&D Digital and Operations Senior Associate will collaborate closely with national and local L&D members and will require a desire to become knowledgeable about the full range of programs at PwC. The role will also support the production of reports and implementation of new systems and process enhancements. Meaningful work you'll be part of

As a Lea r ning and Development Digital and Operations Senior Associate , you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve business issues and deliver high quality client service and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

  • Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate efficient and effective delivery of projects and courses
  • Support the implementation and execution of national and local learning solutions
  • Drive the development and execution of project plans, including drafting communications and coordinating the translation process
  • Support L&D processes, which will involve the use of HC systems such as Cornerstone, Vantage, Content Sphere, SharePoint Online, PowerBI Dashboards, Talent Link, Enroute, Workday and Metrics that Matter
  • Proactively coordinate the national planning, scheduling, coordination and reporting of multiple mandatory courses across Canada using centralized processes in consultation with national & local L&D teams, and in coordination with the business, Resource Management and other HC groups
  • Ensure that sessions are appropriately scheduled and set up; participants have been identified and enrolled; instructors have been identified and notified; internal / external training space has been booked; and session information has been accurately recorded in various tracking documents
  • Generate reports from single or multiple systems and troubleshoot the reporting dashboard environment
  • Support L&D compliance with remediations, exemptions andcommunications
  • Export / import of data sets into Alteryx workflows as part of the L&D Reporting requirements and timelines as well as troubleshooting errors
  • In consultation with national L&D team members, determine L&D compliance and metric information required and liaise with others across HC to report this on a timely basis
  • Review / process invoices ( e.g. external training venues) to ensure costs are aligned with budget, investigating any significant variances and making recommendations for cost-saving opportunities
  • Collaborate / support L&D Digital and Operations Team with reporting, budgets and other projects (as needed) ensuring that we are optimizing processes to drive eff ic iencies.

Experiences and skills you'll use to solve

  • Experience in a corporate environment supporting a multi-functional team
  • Proficiency in business intelligence software (e.g., Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau) and M365; advanced Excel skills required
  • Strong relationship-building skills, professional interaction at all levels
  • Excellent project management and coordination skills, ability to manage / prioritize multiple tasks
  • Exceptional attention to detail in managing / analyzing large volumes of data
  • Basic understanding of business strategy and learning priorities
  • Logical, creative, and innovative problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, clear and concise drafting
  • Agile and adaptable, with a focus on continuous improvement and best practices
