SHOE PER is an independently owned family footwear store that carries current brands and styles for men, women and children. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sales performance, customer satisfaction, and staff training and development. You will work to foster client loyalty and expand our brand presence. The ideal candidate will spearhead these efforts with a customer-centric attitude.

Role Description

Looking for a reliable individual with a strong, established work history. This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Manager located in Guelph ON. The Assistant Manager will support the daily operations of SHOE PER, ensuring smooth store management and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include overseeing staff, managing inventory, ensuring sales targets are met, and addressing customer inquiries and complaints. The role also involves assisting in employee training and ensuring compliance with company policies and standards.

Working conditions

  • Full time
  • 37.5 + hours / week (excludes 30 minute lunch breaks)
  • Hours may include evenings and / or weekends
  • Overtime as required.

  • Must have at least 3-5 years of retail management experience

  • Cordial with staff and the public
  • Strong computer skills (Gmail, Calendars, Excel, Word)
  • Access to car / Driver’s License
  • Some lifting 10 – 30 lbs.
