About This Role

As a Funeral Director at Capital Funeral Home & Cemetery and Kelly Funeral Homes, located in Ottawa, Ontario, you will have the opportunity to provide meaningful support to families on their end‑of‑life journey by overseeing and directing all aspects of funeral services, including : filing death certificates, maintaining online obituary listings, performing decedent embalming and providing assistance during the execution of funeral services.

Key Qualifications And Demonstrated Abilities

• Displays proven, superior arrangement, directing and embalming skills.
• Passion for customer care demonstrated in previous professional experiences.
• Self‑motivated with the ability to work effectively independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and consistently high level of accuracy.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated strong customer service skills with the ability to partner with all levels of the organization.
• Exemplifies Arbor’s values of compassion, integrity, trust, teamwork, belonging and excellence.
• Excellent knowledge of Funeral Home procedures and business practices including Funeral Home Procedures Manuals.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving abstract.
