Job Description

MOBILE SECURITY OFFICER :

Rotations :

Casual On-Call

Pay rate : $21.00 / hour

Must have valid Class 5 BC Driver's License

Your Must-Haves :

Hold a valid BC Security License

Hold a valid Class 5 BC Driver’s license

Have a clean driver’s abstract

Fluent English; excellent written and verbal skills

Positive attitude with professional demeanor and strong interpersonal / customer service skills

Excellent attention to detail to fulfill job duties and incident report writing

Excellent problem solving skills and ability to handle emergency situations in a calm and professional manner

Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in varying situations

Basic to intermediate computer skills

Your Nice-To-Haves :

Experience in a similar role

Basic First Aid (Occupational First Aid Level 1)

Ability to obtain and maintain security clearances

Job Responsibilities :

Safely operating a Mobile Patrol motor vehicle in accordance with all laws and regulations;

Conducting security checks at client sites according to directives, standards and post orders;

Utilize company cell phones and Tracktik phone app;

Conducting alarm response to client sites as needed

Conducting House Watch patrol if necessary;

Attending lone worker sites to check on workers when requested;

Ensuring incident and shift reports are completed including Run Sheets, Vehicle Inspection reports, Tracktik reports, Alarm reports and Inventory reports;

Reporting for shifts on time, and maintaining proper dress and deportment at all times;

Reporting any unsafe incidents, practices and / or issues;

Conducting vehicle checks at start of shifts and ensuring any issues are reported accurately;

Being respectful towards tools / equipment and ensuring proper key control at all times;

Ensuring vehicles are kept clean and washed as required;

Maintaining high standard of work ethic and professionalism;

Promoting a respectful workplace by displaying a courteous, professional attitude;

Keeping management aware of any unusual incidents;

Commissionaires provides security services for over 200 sites and are located in over 110 communities across the province. Our client base runs from the Federal Government to local municipalities, airports, industrial sectors, and commercial / residential buildings.

Our guards are not only behind the scenes providing security and access control, but front and centre providing valued customer service to the public.
