About the position

Reporting to the Centre Director acts as an integral member of the Kids & Company team who is responsible for assisting the day-to-day operations of a specific childcare center through the conscientious application of Kids & Company standards to achieve our mission statement : to provide quality primary and backup childcare services conveniently located near our childrens parents place of work. We aim to assist corporations in creating a healthy work / life balance.

Responsibilities

• Support childrens emotional physical and behavioral well being; while helping to develop their social emotional cognitive and physical skills
• Maintain documentation reporting and record keeping
• Implement an Emergent Curriculum
• Maintain attendance and health and safety checks
• Work with professionals such as Speech Therapists Occupational Therapists and Early Interventionists as necessary
• Support children through transitions in and out of the classrooms
• Meet all classroom ratios as outlined in CCEYA
• Participate and help lead staff meetings and workshops
• Assistant the Centre Director with child / staff files and other ministry requirements.
