The IT Business Applications Manager provides essential leadership and technical oversight for the company’s software application ecosystem. Reporting to the Senior Manager of IT & Analytics, this role is responsible for driving the strategic application roadmap with a specific focus on the ERP system (QAD) and BI platforms (Cognos and Power BI). The Supervisor manages and helps with the daily activities of the Senior Programmer / Analyst and the Systems Analyst, ensuring that all business units receive innovative, efficient, and data‑driven solutions to meet corporate goals.

Core Responsibilities

• People Management : Responsible for the selection, training, work assignment, motivation, and performance review of the software application team, including the Senior Programmer / Analyst and Systems Analyst.
• Policy Oversight : Ensure all team members adhere to Tree Island and IT department policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Mentorship : Provide technical mentorship and professional development guidance to the software team to ensure high standards of code and system design.
