This is a part-time freelance contractor opportunity as CSPC’s Web Admin, responsible for regular website updates and addition of new content with variable hours (estimated between 5-15 hrs / week) depending on the timeline of CSPC programs.

Key Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the CEO and CSPC staff, the Web Admin will :
- Serve as the primary web administrator for the CSPC website, uploading, updating, upgrading, and making necessary changes as requested transforming service request.
- Maintain and update website content related to CSPC programs, events, conference proceedings, editorials, magazine, and other activities.
- Operate and support the testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of both backend and front‑end website components.
- Monitor website functionality, performance, and security, including routine updates and issue resolution.
- Work closely with the CSPC team to ensure web content is accurate, current, and updated regularly.
- Identify and resolve broken links, formatting issues, and basic usability problems.
- Support integration with third‑party tools (e.g., event registration platforms, embedded forms, newsletters, and video platforms).
- Ensure the website complies with all required protocols, including accessibility, security, usability, and organizational standards.
Qualifications
Experience and Technical Skills :
Outstanding experience and knowledge of WordPress, including themes, plugins, and content management.Solid understanding of web design and development principles.Ability to assist with website and application testing and maintenance.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in content implementation.Graphic design capabilities are considered a significant asset.Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and bilingual (English / French) content management.Experience with basic SEO practices and web analytics.Knowledge of website securityROLIS and performance optimization.Ability to work independently and manage multiple requests.Comfortable working with short deadlines and time‑sensitive updates.Strong organizational and communication skillsTokens.Education :
Post‑secondary education in a relevant field such as web development, computer science, information technology, digital media, communications, or a related discipline.OR
Equivalent practical experience managing and maintaining websites (particularly WordPress‑based sites).Remote Contract position, paid on an hourly basis.Approximately 5‑15 hours per week.Availability for 9 AM – 5 PM EST working hour window, with occasional time‑sensitive update requests outside of working hours.Candidates must be legally entitled to work in Canada.Apply
