Job description

Reporting to the Manager, Operations – C2ET, the incumbent will provide assistance in general operations of the Collaborative Centres on Energy and its Transition (C2ET).

Primary responsibilities Responsible for ordering instruments, chemicals, and supplies for the laboratory.

Participating and taking notes / meeting minutes in meetings or events related to the C2ET. Following up with stakeholders by email as necessary.

Scheduling, coordinating, and organizing meetings, and managing important deadlines.

Assisting with logistics and organization of laboratory activities, such as coordinating lab cleanups, and maintaining lab inventory databases.

Assisting with digital archives for laboratory data, and important documentation.

Assisting the Manager, Operations – C2ET with general Financial Management duties, including but not limited to, preparing expense reports and ensuring budgets are adhered to.

Other tasks as outlined by Manager, Operations – C2ET. Qualifications Diplôme d’études collégiales (DEC), with at least two to four years of related work experience.

Good spoken and written English and French required. Fluency in English and French is considered a significant asset.

Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and in a team environment and to interact effectively with internal and external communities.

Outstanding organizational skills; ability to prioritize work and to perform well under pressure.

Previous work experience in a University environment is an asset.

Knowledge and work experience with SAP / Ariba software an asset.
