Well-established small-animal hospital in Interior BC seeking a senior-level Veterinarian to step into a key, long-term clinical role. The practice has deep community roots, a loyal client base, and strong, experienced support staff. The hospital is currently operating with locum coverage only and is prioritizing a permanent hire who can stabilize and grow the practice clinically.

Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality small-animal medicine and surgery
Work independently with confidence and clinical autonomy
Perform routine and advanced soft-tissue surgery
Dentistry strongly preferred (minimum : surgery required)
Build and maintain strong client relationships
Collaborate closely with support staff and contribute to team culture
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced DVM : ideally 8+ years in practice (flexibility at 5+ years for strong candidates)
Confident, independent clinician
Comfortable stepping into a leadership-by-example role (no formal management required)
Strong communicator with clients and team
Licensed or eligible to practice in British Columbia
Compensation & Support
Approx. $180,000 CAD base salary
