Job Description
This position supports a major hydroelectric project in New Brunswick and requires two weeks per month at the project office in Fredericton, NB. Travel and lodging expenses will be covered. The Intermediate Cost Engineer is responsible for supporting cost control activities across engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC / EPCM) projects. This role assists in developing project budgets, monitoring cost performance, analyzing trends, and preparing regular cost reports. The Intermediate Cost Engineer works closely with planners, estimators, procurement, engineering, and construction teams to ensure accurate and timely cost management throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in cost engineering practices, strong analytical skills, and experience working on multi‑discipline industrial projects such as mining, oil & gas, energy, and infrastructure.
