Key Responsibilities :
- Manage the full collections cycle for a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring timely payments and minimizing delinquency.
- Communicate with customers via phone, email, and written correspondence to resolve outstanding invoices and payment disputes.
- Coordinate internally with sales, customer service, and finance to investigate and resolve account issues.
- Monitor aging reports, identify delinquent accounts, and escalate unresolved matters as appropriate.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of collection activities and status updates in the ERP system.
- Recommend process improvements with the goal of optimizing cash flow and reducing days sales outstanding (DSO).
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations regarding collections and credit management.
Qualifications :
2+ years’ experience in commercial collections, preferably within the manufacturing or industrial sector.Strong knowledge of credit / collections principles, practices, and relevant regulations.Effective negotiation, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.Proficient with MS Office Suite; experience with ERP or accounting systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) an asset.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.What’s Offered :
