Job Description

Assistant Plant Manager

Our client is a North American leader in their industry. It is a heavy industrial environment looking to oversee all operations at a facility in Delta.

Responsibilities :

Assist the Plant Manager with the day-to-day operations of the plant.
Monitor and optimize production processes to ensure maximum efficiency and high product quality.
Support maintenance planning and execution to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability.
Lead, coach, and develop plant personnel while promoting teamwork and a culture of continuous improvement.
Support the planning and execution of capital projects and strategic plant initiatives

Requirements :

Minimum of 10 years' experience in heavy industrial manufacturing.

Strong understanding of plant operations, maintenance practices, and safety regulations.

Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.

Proficiency in MS Office and plant management systems.

xperience with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies.

Knowledge of environmental compliance and sustainability practices.

Familiarity with ERP systems.

Shift : Monday through Friday days with willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed.

Salary in the mid to high 100,000 range plus bonus, benefits, vacation and retirement plan.
